He is a lieutenant colonel in the Serbian Armed Forces and an assistant professor at the Military Academy, specialising in defence management and project management in both theory and practice. At the Military Academy he teaches Project Administration, Project Management, Crisis Management, and Command and Control at undergraduate, master's and doctoral level. Alongside his academic work, he prepares project proposals and manages projects as a coordinator. He holds a doctorate in military sciences in the field of management, having previously earned a master's degree in technical sciences, and graduated from the Artillery programme of the Military Academy in Belgrade. During his career he has held command and teaching posts in the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence. He wrote the 2019 book Preparing Project Proposals for European Union Funds and has authored or co-authored ten research papers. He has also undertaken further training in project writing and management, teaching methodology and distance learning. Education - 2017, 2022. Appointed to the teaching rank of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in the specialist field of defence management. - 2013–2016. Defended the doctoral dissertation “Optimisation of Artillery Fire Support in Serbian Armed Forces Operations Using the Global Positioning System” on 2 February 2016 and earned the academic title of Doctor of Military Sciences in Management. - 2005–2010. Defended the master's thesis “Improving the Quality of Transport Services through Communication Technologies” on 6 December 2010 and earned the academic title of Master of Technical Sciences at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering. - 2000–2004. Graduated from the Artillery programme of the Military Academy in Belgrade and qualified as an Artillery Officer. - 1996–2000. Graduated from the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering in Kragujevac and qualified as an Automation Electrical Engineering Technician. From 2004 to 2011 he served in the Serbian Armed Forces as a fire-platoon commander in the 16th Mixed Artillery Brigade in Ruma, as a platoon commander at the 2nd Training Centre in Pančevo, and in the Guard of Honour Company at Topčider. From 2011 to 2026 he served in the Ministry of Defence, in the Cadet Brigade and in the Departments of Management and Social Sciences. He has authored or co-authored ten research papers covering artillery fire-support cost optimisation, command and control, water security, Serbian Armed Forces capability development, topographic and geodetic preparation, GPS systems, communication technologies, organisational behaviour and decision support. Since 2018 he has taught at master's and doctoral level in the Defence Management programme. He previously taught Crisis Management and Command and Control and, as an associate, Topographic and Geodetic Preparation in Artillery. He received a cadet-evaluation score of 4.75.
