About Mensa

Mensa is an international association of people who score in the top 2% of the general population on standardised intelligence tests. The name comes from the Latin word for table and symbolises the idea of equality among all members, open dialogue, and the exchange of ideas without hierarchical privileges.

Mensa is not a political, ideological, philosophical, or religious platform. The association does not represent the collective views of its members, but provides them with a space to meet, collaborate, exchange ideas, and build a community through friendship, culture, knowledge, and projects.

The only condition for admission is an appropriate intelligence test result, placing the candidate in the top 2% of the general population. Membership is voluntary, and everyone who qualifies is invited to join. Members do not present their personal views as the views of Mensa Serbia, although they may state that they belong to the association.

Mensa is, above all, a network of people from various professions, interests, and generations. In addition to socializing and friendships, membership opens up opportunities for professional networking, international contacts, exchanging experiences, and accessing numerous benefits provided by the association's partners and friends.

The most common question is: what are Mensa's activities? The simplest answer is: all activities that interest its members. Through domestic and international programs, Mensa connects members through events, education, clubs, travel, projects, and special benefits.
